-- Officers responded to the 400 block of Penn Avenue at 6:43 a.m. Thursday for a reported person to be removed. The caller advised that a person entered the residence without permission, that had moved out eight months ago, and still had belongings inside the residence but was not welcome. Officers checked the residence and did not find the person, and advised the homeowner that they would need to go to the court to get the person evicted from the home to stop him from coming and going as he wishes.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of Vine Avenue at 2:57 a.m. Thursday for a reported domestic in progress where the involved parties were intoxicated and arguing. Officers spoke with both parties who denied the allegations, but the woman advised that she had an epileptic seizure, and the man was loud because he was scared. The woman refused medical attention.Salem
- Officers responded to the 900 block of West Wilson Street at 7:52 p.m. Saturday in reference to a juvenile not abiding by house rules and would not stop yelling. An officer spoke with the juvenile about following rules and thinking things through before making decisions.
- Officers responded to Centennial Park at 6:51 p.m. Saturday in reference to two female juveniles carving into a table. The juveniles split up and ran in different directions, but officers were able to get them stopped and had their parents pick them up.
- Officers responded to the 1400 block of East State Street at 6:40 p.m. Saturday in reference to a possible domestic and found a pair of siblings had been in a verbal altercation, but no violence occurred. They were told to separate for the evening.
- Someone reported at 3:05 p.m. Saturday someone had entered his unlocked locker at a North Ellsworth Avenue facility and took $100 from his wallet while he was in the sauna.
- Officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 2:35 a.m. Saturday in reference to a man passed out on the ground and found him to be heavily intoxicated. Due to the actions and behaviors of the man, medical personnel responded and transported him to a medical facility for evaluation.
- Officers responded to the Salem hospital at 11:33 p.m. Friday where a caller reported she left her wallet on top of her vehicle at a gas station while driving away, causing the wallet to fall off. She also said someone had attempted to use her credit cards, but she had already locked them.
- A man called 911 at 11:09 p.m. Friday to report a vehicle following him throughout the city. Officers made contact with both vehicles at the station and learned the incident started at Walmart regarding an ex. Everyone involved was advised to go their separate ways.
- Officers responded to the 600 block of Franklin Avenue at 7:59 p.m. Friday in reference to a noise complaint in which there was possibly underage drinking. Officers spoke with the people, advising them of the complaint, and they agreed to turn down the music. No signs of alcohol was observed.
- A West Fifth Street resident reported at 5:50 p.m. Friday that her daughter had threatened to kill her. She did not wish to pursue charges and just wanted the incident documented.
- Officers responded to the 2800 block of East State Street at 4:22 p.m. Friday in reference to a man dressed all in black walking in the roadway, but were unable to find the man in question.
- Officers assisted the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force with an arrest in the 100 block of West State Street at 3:21 p.m. Friday.
- An officer responded to the area of South Lincoln Avenue and Snyder Road at 2:36 p.m. Friday to conduct traffic control for a crash being handled by Perry Township police.
- Officers responded to the 100 block of East Sixth Street at 10:12 p.m. Thursday in reference to fireworks being set off, but found no fireworks in the area.
