SHERIFF’S OFFICE
— A woman on U.S. Route 30, West Township, reported at 7:52 p.m. Thursday that her landlord told her that her grandson who lives with her will have to move out. The eviction process was explained to her.
— A man on Westville Lake Road, Knox Township, reported at 3:42 p.m. Thursday that his trash can was taken from in front of his residence. He reported a short time later that he found his trash can on Georgetown Road, Knox Township.
— Deputies were dispatched at 10:51 p.m. Wednesday to West Street, Salineville for a disturbance. Upon arrival, all parties were separated and no one wanted to pursue any criminal charges. The report said Courtney M. Delauder was taken into custody on an active warrant out of Columbiana County and transported to the county jail. No other information was available.
— A woman on state Route 45, Salem reported at 10:24 p.m. Wednesday that a man from Salem said he was coming to her residence to get his ladder from her property that her son had. She said she wasn’t giving him the ladder due to her son being in jail.
— A man from Statesville, N.C. called at 7:07 p.m. Wednesday because he wanted a report on file. He said he’s camping at the KOA on Winona Road, Butler Township, and his service dog bit a person he did not know.The person went to the hospital.
— A deputy was dispatched to the Kensington Dairy Bar, U.S. Route 30, Hanover Township, for a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle left before the deputy arrived.
— The owner of Timashamie Campground, Georgetown Road, Butler Township, reported at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday that she rented out the concession stand to a man and he ripped out signs and was parking where he’s not allowed to park and blocking traffic. He claimed that in his contract from the woman he’s allowed to park there. They were advised to contact their attorneys.
— Deputies were dispatched at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday to Southfield Energy, Hibbetts Mill Road, Yellow Creek Township, for a welfare check on a security guard not answering the phone. Deputies spoke with the security guard, who was fine.
