Sheriff’s Office

— A resident of Lake Point Drive, Knox Township, reported at 9:18 p.m. Thursday that his neighbor’s tree hangs over his roof and caused damage. He was advised to contact an attorney.

— East Palestine EMS at 3:15 p.m. Thursday requested a deputy assist them at a residence on Neeld Road, Unity Township, where a person received a pink slip from their doctor and was ordered taken to a hospital. Upon arrival, East Palestine EMS was enroute with the person to a hospital.

— A man on state Route 14, Unity Township, reported at 2:40 p.m. Thursday that his neighbor’s dog allegedly killed 11 of his chickens and he already contacted the Columbiana County Dog Warden.

— A deputy was dispatched at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday to Lockers U Lock, state Route 45, Center Township, for a lock that was cut off of a unit. A warrant for criminal damage was issued out of Columbiana County Municipal Court for a man from Toronto.

Leetonia

— Boardman police called at 3:40 p.m. Nov. 7 to ask police to do a welfare check in the 500 block of Cherry Valley Road, after a female subject had asked for help. It was confirmed to be out of the village limits. The female subject got into a vehicle and left the area.

— Alexis Ours reported at 6:36 p.m. Nov. 10 that her vehicle was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of Butcher Road and Washington Street before the suspect vehicle fled the scene.

— A possible fight was reported at 1:41 p.m. Nov. 10 during a third-grade basketball game between two parents at the school. It didn’t escalate beyond a disagreement over a referee’s call.

— A suspicious male wearing a backpack and pacing back and forth in front of the Leetonia Laundromat was reported at 1:12 a.m. Wednesday. He was gone by the time the police arrived.

— A female subject reported at 2:13 a.m. Nov. 7 that a suspicious male had activated her motion sensitive security cameras on two occasions throughout the night. Police observed nothing but ordered extra patrols in the 100 block of High Street, where she lives.

New Waterford

— A 46000 block state Route 46 resident reported at 3:36 p.m. Thursday a telecommunications harassment case. The matter is under investigation.

— Officers spoke with a woman at the police department at 2:01 p.m. Nov. 8 regarding a civil matter.
