LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Nov. 21 for William Donald Barrett, 43, Grant Street, Lisbon, charged with second-degree felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal trespass for allegedly breaking into a woman’s garage in East Liverpool and taking several items on Oct. 11.

A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Nov. 21 for William Dale Jacquet, 30, Canton, charged with second-degree felony burglary, fifth-degree felony receiving stolen property, third-degree felony tampering with evidence and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia for allegedly breaking into a woman’s garage in East Liverpool on Oct. 11 and taking multiple items. Jacquet allegedly possessed a glass smoking pipe with white residue during a traffic stop on Nov. 11 in Liverpool Township after the pipe fell from his pant leg.

A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Nov. 21 for Indya Swann, 24, Commerce Street, Wellsville, charged with complicity, a second-degree felony, and misdemeanors of driving under suspension, use of unauthorized plate and speeding for allegedly being the driver for two others accused of breaking into a woman’s garage in East Liverpool and taking several items on Oct. 11 in East Liverpool.

A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Nov. 18 for Christina Butler, 34, Canton, charged with fourth-degree felony promote prostitution-supervise/manage prostitution and misdemeanors of possessing criminal tools and soliciting for allegedly posting an ad on a known prostitution website and solicited sexual conduct from an undercover agent posing as a purchaser of sex for $400, which included gas money. During an undercover phone conversation, she also told the agent she posted an ad on the same website for another woman to solicit sexual conduct from him, then traveled to Salem on Sept. 14 for the meeting.

A preliminary hearing was set Nov. 21 for Cody Jones, 34, Mill Street, Salineville, charged with breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly breaking into the Conex building/storage trailer and pushing stolen property rom the trailer in Salineville on Oct. 30.

A preliminary hearing was set Nov. 18 for Julio Alvarez Box, 27, East Third Street, Salem, charged with fleeing/failure to comply, a fourth-degree felony, for allegedly failing to stop for Salem police attempting a traffic stop in Salem on Nov. 10, then striking another vehicle that was stopped at East Third Street and North Lincoln Avenue.

A pretrial was set Feb. 10 for Stephanie Hudson, 32, Central Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly shoving another woman with enough force for her to fall on the floor and complain of hip pain on Nov. 10 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Nov. 21 for Kirk Price, 56, Eighth Avenue LaCroft, East Liverpool, charged with assault for allegedly spitting in a woman’s face during an argument on Oct. 22 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Nov. 21 for Anthony Robert Kelly, 36, Wood Street, East Palestine, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly putting his hand on another man and threatening to harm and kill him on the front porch of a residence on Wood Street, East Palestine on Nov. 8.

A pretrial was set Nov. 21 for Wilbert E. Faulk, 65, Minerva Street, East Liverpool, charged with criminal trespass and domestic violence for allegedly entering a woman’s detached garage on Nov. 4 in East Liverpool and on Nov. 11 in East Liverpool, striking a woman in the arm several times and threatening to burn the house down with household members inside.

Justin Gamble, 32, Bates Street, East Liverpool, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 120 days suspended, leaving a total of 60 days to serve for domestic violence and criminal damaging, with a credit for three days served. Gamble broke out the window of a woman’s vehicle by throwing a rock on Aug. 28 in East Liverpool. Gamble was ordered to serve an additional 60 days in jail for violating his probation for 2023 cases for resisting arrest, obstructing official business, domestic violence, operating a vehicle impaired, driving under suspension and OVI refusal with prior within 20 years.

A pretrial was set Feb. 18 for Robert Weber Jr., 53, Grove City, Pa., charged with assault, OVI first offense and OVI breath first offense for allegedly grabbing the arm of a juvenile and pushing the juvenile out of the way at a Lisbon residence on Roller Coaster Road on Nov. 10.

A pretrial was set Jan. 13 for Mario Roberto Santos Moran, 32, Richmond, Va., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $80, then traveling to East Palestine on Nov. 7 for the meeting.

A pretrial was set Jan. 9 for Trevaun Maurice Jones, 29, Barefoot Bay, Fla., charged with possessing criminal tools and engaging in prostitution for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and requesting sexual activity from a woman for $40, then traveling to East Palestine on Nov. 10 for the meeting.

A pretrial was set Feb. 4 for Latroy Taiwan McMillian, 30, Warren, charged with soliciting and possessing criminal tools for allegedly posting an ad on a known prostitution website offering sex for hire and arranging for sexual activity with an undercover agent in exchange for money, then traveling to East Palestine on Nov. 8 for the meeting.

A pretrial was set Feb. 24 for Jamila Cameron, 26, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly telling East Liverpool police officers executing a search warrant for electronic devices on Nov. 6 in East Liverpool that her boyfriend’s phone was stolen and was not recovered at that time, accusing her of purposely withholding the property requested in the search warrant. The search warrant was allegedly issued for electronic devices due to threats made to a nursing home.

A sentencing hearing was set Dec. 5 for Thomas Klink Jr., 33, Ohio Avenue, Salem, who entered a guilty plea to criminal trespass for being in a property on Nov. 9 in Salem, one day after an eviction notice was served for everyone to leave. He was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

Christopher Ingram, 42, Orchard Street, East Liverpool, was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 165 days suspended, leaving a balance of 15 days to serve for theft and drug paraphernalia. Ingram possessed a burnt pipe and a clear container with a small amount of suspected narcotics after being stopped by East Liverpool police on Sept. 8 to serve a trespass notice. On Aug. 20, he entered a vehicle and took shoes and ear buds, also in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Nov. 19 for Amy Jade Cain, 36, Ashland Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with resisting arrest, OVI first offense and reasonable control for allegedly becoming combative and refusing to follow commands after being arrested for OVI, with a Liverpool Township officer using a taser on her on March 1.

Mark Gaul, 44, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served, for theft. He was ordered to complete 80 hours community service and an Ohio theft awareness course. Gaul was accused of stealing a package from outside the door of a woman’s apartment while working as a pizza delivery driver in Salem on Sept. 5.

William Kindle, 32, West State Street, Salem, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 175 days suspended, leaving five days to serve in jail for theft. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to have no contact with Walmart in Columbiana County. Kindle failing to scan various items at self checkout from Feb. 28 through April 21 at the Salem Walmart where he was working, with the total of stolen items valued at $327.

Jesse Vega, 31, Boardman, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served, for drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Vega was accused of possessing a pill bottle with no label with an envelope with a white crystal-like substance during a traffic stop on Aug. 5.

Angel Feliciano, 21, state Route 14, East Palestine, was fined $200 and sentenced to 60 days in jail, with 59 days suspended and credit for one day served, for criminal mischief. He was to have no contact with the victim, with a restitution hearing set for Feb. 18. On July 31 in East Palestine, Feliciano threw a plastic drink cup filled with beverage against a woman’s driver side window, with the cup shattering, with pieces of cup and the beverage splattering all over her vehicle.

A pretrial was set Jan. 16 for Caleb Starcher, 21, Walker Road, Minerva, charged with operating a vehicle impaired second offense and reasonable control.

A pretrial was set Feb. 10 for Hope Marie Severs, 46, Eureka Road, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense, OVI blood first offense and hit skip/leave scene.

Bradley McCoy, 32, Bayard Road, Minerva, was fined $925 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 174 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, leaving three days to serve in jail for OVI and speeding. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted, and he was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.

Edward Swanson, 44, Monaca Street, East Liverpool, was fined $875 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program for OVI first offense. A loud exhaust charge was dismissed. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted, and he was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.

A pretrial was set Feb. 10 for Mark Morris, 50, state Route 39, Salineville, charged with driving while texting.

A pretrial was set Jan. 2 for Curtis Rhoden, 49, Akron, charged with speeding.

A pretrial was set Jan. 23 for Robyn Wornoff, 35, Garfield Heights, charged with failure to stop after an accident, driving under suspension and traffic control devices.

A pretrial was set Feb. 3 for Keilyn Black, 33, Youngstown, charged with driving under suspension, reasonable control and no seat belt.

A pretrial was set Jan. 9 for Robert Bowyer, 56, Moore Road, East Liverpool, charged with driving under suspension and restricted tinted glass.

Emery Ketchum, 35, Steubenville Pike Road, Lisbon, was fined $50 for driving under suspension.

Jarrit Manley, 37, Salem Alliance Road, Salem, was ordered to pay court costs only after a driving while texting charge was dismissed. Manley had completed an online course.

William Woolf, 70, Summers Road, East Rochester, was fined $30 for speeding.

Kiran Nakkala, 22,Youngstown, was fined $50 for speeding and found valid for a temporary permit.

Robert Voight, 43, Ravenna, was fined $35 for no seatbelt, with a charge of no CDL dismissed.

Court News

LISBON — A Salem man already in prison on drug charges was sentenced to an additional 24 months after pleading guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony, and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Michael Heverly, 39, Depot Road, appeared for a hearing in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court recently to enter the plea and opted for immediate sentencing.

The sentence was 24 months for the drug trafficking and six months for the possession, to be served at the same time, but consecutive to the term he’s already serving for a 2016 case. He also received a mandatory $5,000 fine and must forfeit $92 for a specification for forfeiture of money from a drug case. He received credit for one day served.

The most recent case involved his possession of methamphetamine on Jan. 12, along with the $92.

The previous case involved charges of illegal assembly, receiving stolen property, possession of drugs and illegal manufacture of drugs. The sentence issued on Feb. 16, 2018 was for four years nine months.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Justin Ingledue, 36, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, was ordered to spend 12 months in prison for violating his probation for third-degree felony tampering with evidence and misdemeanor resisting arrest, with credit for 180 days already served in jail. Ingledue was accused of causing physical harm to a deputy on April 16, 2022 after pulling away while being handcuffed and allegedly tossing a joint in the mud to destroy it after deputies responded to a domestic on Fairfield School Road.

— Jamie Allen Jr., 25, South Lincoln Avenue, Lisbon, was placed under community control on probation for three years for third-degree felony burglary and misdemeanor petty theft for trespassing in a residence and stealing a resident’s Xbox headphones on Aug. 7, 2019.

— Joni McDole, 31, Pancake Clarkson Road, Rogers, was sentenced to eight months in prison, with credit for 14 days served in jail, for violating her probation for a charge of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing cocaine on June 16, 2022.

— Jesse Sands, 34, 18th Street Heights, Wellsville, pleaded guilty to grand theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, with sentencing set for Jan. 24. Sands was accused of stealing a 2009 Chevy Malibu from Six Recycling on June 28, 2023.

— Austin Smith, 29, Industry, Pa., was placed on an intervention plan for 18 months after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing cocaine on March 26, 2022.

— Charles Slocum, 32, Brookfield Avenue, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing methamphetamine on June 10, 2023. Sentencing was set for Jan. 23.

— Davon Martin, 32, Cleveland, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, with sentencing set for Jan. 17. Martin possessed psilocyn on Oct. 6, 2023.
