LISBON — A Hammondsville man facing weapons charges was sentenced to 12 months in prison after entering guilty pleas in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.

William Santimarino, 36, pleaded guilty to third-degree felony having weapons under disability and misdemeanor possessing a defaced firearm. He received credit for 100 days served in the county jail.

During a traffic stop on Jan. 23 in Wellsville, Santimarino possessed a loaded gun with a grinded off serial number when he was prohibited from having a firearm due to a prior felony conviction.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Desiree Ingledue, 30, Lisa Lane, Lisbon, was sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and misdemeanors of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possessing drug abuse instruments. She received credit for 24 days already served in jail. The charges all stemmed from an incident on Dec. 21, 2020 when she possessed methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments.

— Carmen Yarwood, 46, Niles, pleaded guilty to drug charges from three different indictments, with sentencing set for Jan. 23. Yarwood pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing methamphetamine on Sept. 1, 2022, Sept. 2, 2022, Nov. 13, 2023 and Nov. 16, 2023. On Nov. 13, 2023, Yarwood also attempted to take drugs into a detention facility and pleaded guilty to fourth-degree felony attempted illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility.
