— Firefighters responded to the 700 block of Summit Street at 8:33 a.m. Wednesday for a reported garage fire. When personnel arrived, they found a garage and an adjacent shed fully involved and a two and a quarter inch handline was placed into service containing the fire and hitting hot spots. A motorcycle inside the structure suffered minor damage and there was damage to the vinyl siding of an adjacent residence from radiant heat. The cause is under investigation.
