Salem
— Officers received a call at 8:58 p.m. Monday for a report of identity theft. Officers called the person and left a voicemail with no call returned.
— Officers responded to the 400 block of Ohio avenue at 7:51 p.m. Monday for a reported dispute. Officers found the female half, Elizabeth Looper, Salem, was in violation of a no contact order. Looper was taken into custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
East Palestine
— Officers took a call at 11:56 p.m. on Monday from the East Palestine Middle School regarding a student talking about running away from their foster home. Officers made contact with the foster mother and she was made aware of the information.
— Officers responded to West Grant Street for a welfare check at 8:32 p.m. on Sunday. Officers made contact and determined nothing was wrong.
— Officers responded at 7:39 p.m. on Saturday to West Clark Street to a report of two males yelling. Negative contact was made.
— A woman called the station at 3:49 p.m. on Saturday regarding a civil matter.
— A resident called the station to receive information regarding child custody at 12:27 p.m. on Saturday.
— Officers responded to a noise complaint at 1:07 a.m. on South Washington Street on Saturday.
— A resident on West Main Street reported receiving harassing text messages from a person known to him. Officer warned both parties to cease communications and any attempt by one to contact the other would result in charges.
— An employee at a East Taggart Street business reported a theft at 2:14 p.m. on Friday.
— A woman on East Clark Street reported at 8:06 p.m. on Thursday receiving a phone call from someone who she has a protection against. The matter is under investigation.
— Officers responded to the East Main Street to an ongoing custody dispute.
