— Officers responded to the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 8:12 p.m. Monday to check for a man with a warrant out of Columbiana County. Officers located the man and detained him; however, due to medical issues the sheriff’s office advised officers to release the man.

— Officers responded to the 1600 block of East State Street at 5:29 p.m. Monday for a report of a small child near the roadway. Officers spoke with the child’s mother who advised they were helping a family member move when the child went through an open door and outside without their knowledge. Officers advised them of the complaint.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Aetna Street at 5:27 p.m. Monday for a reported dispute. The caller advised that he got into a verbal argument with his mother and she locked him out of the residence. Officers spoke with the mother who did not want them back in the residence, and the mother was advised of the eviction process.

— Officers spoke with a person in the 600 block of Continental Drive at 4:58 p.m. Monday about a reported neighbor issue. Officers advised the caller of their options for dealing with the issue.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 4:26 p.m. Monday for a reported person to be removed. Officers located the person in question and spoke with them and were advised that they were no longer welcome at the business and would need to leave or be arrested. Officers issued the man a trespass notice and left the area.

— Officers responded to the first block of Prospect Street at 3:36 p.m. Monday for a report of dirt bikes in the roadway. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate it.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 12:54 p.m. Monday for a reported domestic dispute. The caller advised that she had been in a verbal dispute with her boyfriend and that he had dumped a drink on her before leaving the residence. The caller was given options for dealing with the situation.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 12:49 p.m. Monday for an unknown issue. It was determined to only be a medical issue.

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Third Street at 12:38 p.m. Monday for a reported open burning complaint. Officers spoke with the homeowner and advised them of the open burning laws.

— Officers responded to the 1900 block of East State Street at 5:56 a.m. Monday for a reported person to be removed. Officers located the person in question advising him that he was not welcome on the property, and he left the area without incident.

— Officers responded to the 800 block of Granite Avenue at 11:26 p.m. Sunday for a reported barking dog. Officers checked the area but did not hear a barking dog.

— Officers responded to the 1900 block of East State Street at 11:01 p.m. Sunday for a wellness check. The caller advised that a juvenile was walking on the road and yelling. Officers spoke with the juvenile who advised that he was okay, and he transported to his grandmother’s house.

— Officers were flagged down in the 100 block of South Ellsworth Avenue at 10:14 p.m. Sunday by a caller who advised that a man walked past him yelling and possibly made a threat. Officers located a juvenile male down the road and advised him of the complaint and not to make threats toward people. The juvenile’s mother was later advised.

— Officers responded to the city limits on West State Street at 9:47 p.m. Sunday for a report of a white Tesla coming into the city driving below the speed limit and giving off a suspicious odor. Officers followed the vehicle eastbound through the city and did not smell any suspicious odor, nor did they observe any traffic violations.

— Officers responded to the area of West Third Street at 7:36 p.m. Sunday for a reported parking complaint. The caller advised that vehicles were parked on both sides of the street, making it difficult for traffic to get through. Officers had some of the vehicles moved.

— Officers responded to the area of South Lincoln Avenue at 7:32 p.m. Sunday for a report of suspicious activity. The caller advised that a man with no shirt was walking in the road and yelling at cars. Officers searched the area and surrounding areas and were unable to locate the person.
