Salem

— Officers responded to the 1200 block of East Sixth Street at 5:40 a.m. Thursday for a reported noise complaint. Officers spoke with the person in question, advising them of the noise ordinance and the music was turned down.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of North Madison Avenue at 3:11 a.m. Thursday for a reported car alarm which had allegedly been going off for 30 minutes. When officers arrived, the alarm had been turned off.

— Officers responded to the 1100 block of West Perry Street at 2:50 a.m. Thursday to assist Perry Township officers with a domestic complaint. Officers assisted by checking the area for the male half.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of Continental Drive at 2:31 a.m. Thursday for a wellness check. Officers spoke with the resident who advised that they did not know the person in question.

— Officers responded to the area of South Ellsworth Avenue at 2:05 a.m. Thursday for a report of an impaired person in the roadway. Perry Township officers advised that a person was walking down the center of the roadway and appeared to be extremely impaired. Shortly after arriving the fire department and EMT were contacted due to the person barely being able to stay awake and having withdrawals.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Ohio Avenue at 4:34 p.m. Wednesday to assist the fire department and EMT with a medical call. Officers were advised that the door to the patient accidentally became blocked. When officers arrived, the medical personnel were able to gain entry.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of East Euclid Street at 1:52 p.m. Wednesday for a speak with officer complaint. The caller advised that their daughter and boyfriend had been residing with a roommate for a couple of months and officers and had since moved out of the residence and were being threatened to pay rent through text messages and social media. Officers advised that they would speak to the roommate if they wanted, but the caller requested they wait.

— Officers responded to the area of North Ellsworth Avenue at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday for a reported reckless operator. The caller advised that a semi-truck was driving down the middle of the road. Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the driver who advised that he was avoiding low-hanging tree limbs while transporting new vehicles.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday for a wellness check. The caller advised that a woman was seen yelling and appearing to be upset. The woman advised that she had just used an illegal substance, and the fire department and EMT responded to assess the woman. They were transported to an appropriate medical facility for further evaluation.

— Officers responded to the 800 block of East Fifth Street at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday for a parking complaint. A construction crew was paving the street, and a vehicle was still parked on the roadway. Officers attempted several times to contact the owner of the vehicle but were unable to. Kaiser’s Towing responded and obtained the vehicle.

Lisbon

— Officers responded at 4:14 p.m. on Friday to Dollar General for a road rage incident. Upon arriving and speaking with both parties, the officers determined that it was a verbal altercation only and no threats were made.

— Officers responded at 4:51 a.m to Sunset Drive to a report of a woman falling out of bed. Upon officers arrival, the woman advised she needed help back into bed. EMS arrived and she was assisted back into her bed.

— Officers spoke to a man at 1:05 a.m. who came to the station for directions and claimed the FBI took his wallet.

— Officers responded at 4:19 p.m. on July 31 to North Beaver Street for a report of a reckless operator. Police followed the vehicle from Beaver Street to outside the village on U.S. Route 30 with no violations.

— Officers spoke to a female at 2:05 a.m. over the phone on July 31. The woman reported her ex-boyfriend was calling her repeatedly on her phone at late hours. Officers explained her options to her and contacted the male on her behalf to have him stop.

— Officers responded at 4:49 p.m. on July 30 to the area of South Lincoln Extension and Maple Street for a report of a reckless driver. Officers followed the vehicle for several miles and did not observe any reckless driving.

— Officers responded to the fairgrounds at 7:25 p.m. on July 30 for a motor vehicle lockout.

– Officers responded at 5:10 p.m. on July 30 to East Lincoln Way for an individual to be removed from a property. The male left without incident.

— Officers responded at 9:45 p.m. on July 30 to the area of Race Road near Caldwell for a report of a reckless driver. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

— Officers responded at 12:50 p.m. to the area of West Lincoln Way, near North Market Street, for a report of a reckless driver. Officers observed a vehicle that matched the description and began following. There were no visible signs of reckless driving.

— A man called to report a theft at 10:55 p.m. on July 29 on North Beaver Street. The caller advised that he had two cones sitting out in his driveway so no one could park there. He advised that he looked out his window and saw a male get out of a newer white Ford truck and take the cones.

— A woman came to the station at 8:49 a.m. on July 28 regarding a custody exchange issue.

— An individual came to the station at 6:39 p.m. on July 28 to make a report regarding a protection order.

— Officers responded at 9:49 on July 26 to assist deputies on North Market Street for a third party report of a domestic dispute.

— Officers responded at 1:398 p.m. on July 26 to Pritchard Avenue after receiving a call regarding an elderly female that had fallen. Officers stayed with the patient until EMS personnel arrived.

— Officers responded at 9:31 p.m. on July 25 to the area of Moore Street near East Lincoln Way after receiving a report of a juvenile riding a bicycle on the roadway. Officers checked the area and located a juvenile nearby who was riding on the sidewalk. Officers spoke with the juvenile and juvenile’s parents regarding the call.

— Officers responded at 4:52 p.m. on July 16 to North Park Avenue for a report of a hit skip. Upon arrival police spoke with the vehicle owner who reported he had parked his vehicle in a legal parking space on North Park Avenue and later observed damage to the driver’s side mirror, driver’s side door and handle. Black paint scuffs were observed on the door.
