Sheriff’s Office
— Deputies at 1:54 p.m. Saturday assisted the Lisbon Police Department with the apprehension of a female suspect who allegedly forced her way into a nearby residence the prior evening. Deputies helped locate and eventually place into custody Meranda M. Kinsey, 58, Prospect Street, Lisbon, who was found at a Jefferson Street address in Lisbon. Kinsey was charged with fourth-degree felony burglary.
— An open 911 line was reported at 9:05 p.m. Sept. 17 on England Drive, Unity Township, with the homeowner reporting the number that called 911 did not belong to anyone at the residence.
— A domestic violence dispute was reported at 8:56 p.m. Sept. 17 on Sixteen School Road, Yellow Creek Township. All parties involved separated for the night.
— A man on Butcher Road, Salem Township, reported at 8:18 p.m. Sept. 17 that his black 2007 Suzuki 450 4-wheeler was stolen from his property.
— A medical call was reported at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 17 in the parking lot of Hull’s Super Duper, state Route 172, Hanover Township. Hanover Township EMS was with the person, who signed a medical refusal. Family members arrived and transported the person and their vehicle back home.
— A woman who resides in Berlin Center reported at 5:59 p.m. Sept. 17 that she owns property on Signal Road, Faifield Township and the engine to her riding lawnmower parked on the property was stolen.
— A deputy was dispatched at 8:22 a.m. Sept. 17 to Trinity Church Road, Hanover Township, for a medical call. Hanover Township EMS personnel and the deputy spoke with the woman, who said she has multiple health problems, but she is fine. She signed a medical refusal. Her daughter had called 911 due to not being able to wake her.
Highway Patrol
— Amir Desellem, of Hull Road in Salineville, was cited at 2:47 p.m. Sept. 16 for a right of way violation in Washington Township, after allegedly failing to yield while exiting a private driveway and striking a vehicle driven by Makayla Bradley, of Hammondsville, as it traveled westbound on state Route 39.
— Jay Harrell, of Mishawka, Indiana, was cited at 1:40 p.m. Sept. 16 in Elkrun Township for failure to control, after a trailer he was pulling on his vehicle fishtailed and forced him off the south side of state Route 154 into a ditch.
— Emily Stone, of Warren, was cited at 1:22 p.m. Sept. 14 in Hanover Township for improper turn at an intersection, after turning into the path of Clayton Sergewk, of West Wilson Street in Salem while turning onto Depot Road.
— Kenneth Best, of Pine Street in Leetonia, was cited at 5:39 p.m. Sept. 13 in Salem Township for a failure to yield violation, after he attempted to cross an intersection at Salem Grange Road and state Route 45 before it was safe to do so from a stop sign, striking Bradley Reeder, of West Lincoln Way in Lisbon. Reeder than was forced into Sharon Hollea, of Columbia Street in Leetonia.
— Theresa Rumsey, of 11th Street in Salem, was not cited at 3:20 p.m. Sept. 10 in Hanover Township, after her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road while traveling eastbound on Teegarden and struck a culvert. She was found to have been suffering a medical emergency.
— Deborah Nicholas, of Fombell, Pa was struck at 3:43 a.m. Sept. 12 in Unity Township from behind by an unidentified driver on state Route 558. The crash is being investigated as a hit and run.
— Richard May, of Charelton Street in Leetonia, was cited at 8:55 a.m. Sept. 11 for a stop sign violation in Fairfield Township. May allegedly drove through a stop sign at CR440 and state Route 164 and struck Brenda Stewart, of Steubenville Pike in Lisbon, causing her vehicle to roll over and travel off the south side of state Route 165 before coming to rest in a ditch.
— Billy Hathaway, of Beloit, was involved in a bike crash at 5:12 p.m. Sept. 14 in Butler Township, while traveling eastbound on U.S. Route 62, overturning his vehicle.
— Gregory Lawson, of Salem-Alliance Road in Salem, was not cited at 5:39 p.m. Sept. 18 in Perry Township, after he went off U.S. Route 62 while traveling eastbound and struck a tree. The lack of citation was due to him suffering a medical emergency.
— Elijah Conser, of New Castle, was cited at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 19 for a right of way violation, after colliding with a vehicle driven by Joseph Schroder, of Lincoln Way in Lisbon, while attempting to navigate the intersection at state Route 7 and 558. Schroder also drew the seatbelt violation.
