Highway Patrol

-- Delores Foster, of Clark Street in East Palestine, was cited at 5:21 a.m. Sept. 18 in Unity Township for failure to control, after she was eastbound on state Route 165, crossed the center line and went off the left side of the road and struck two signs.

-- Elijah Conser, of New Castle, Pa., was cited at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 19 in Fairfield Township for failure to yield the right of way when turning left. Joseph Schnode, of Lincoln Way in Lisbon, was eastbound on state Route 558 and Conser was westbound and attempted to turn south onto state Route 7, striking him.

-- Duncan Hildebrand, of Lincoln Way in Lisbon, was cited at 6:27 a.m. Sept. 23 in Hanover Township for failure to control, after he failed to negotiate a turn while west bound on state Route 172, went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

-- Michael Peterson, of Boardman, was cited at 11:31 p.m. Sept. 22 in Middleton Township for failure to yield the right of way when turning left, after striking Sanjuana Duran, of West Clark St. in East Palestine, while turning from the southbound lane on state Route 170 to CR452.

Sheriff's Office

-- A man on Westville Lake Road, Knox Township, reported at 5:24 p.m. Thursday that his ex-wife was trying to break into the residence. She called and advised per her court paperwork that she is allowed in the residence until it is sold. They were both advised to contact their attorneys.

-- Goshen Township Police Department, Mahoning County, at 3:16 p.m. Thursday requested a Columbiana County deputy check the welfare of a juvenile at a residence on Buck Road, Knox Township, who made suicidal threats in their jurisdiction. A deputy spoke with the juvenile, who was with his grandmother and was fine. Goshen Township Police officers arrived and spoke with the juvenile, who said he did not make any suicidal threats.

-- A woman on Lowmiller Road, West Township, reported at 2:32 p.m. Thursday that she's receiving harassing emails and spam calls from an unknown person. She was advised to block them.

-- A woman on Sunrise Drive, Hanover Township, reported at 2:04 p.m. Thursday that her neighbor was yelling at her over someone parking in their parking space who was doing work for her.

-- A deputy and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday to the area of Lisbon Dungannon Road, Center Township, for an open 911 line. Units made contact with the persons involved and were advised everything was okay.

-- A domestic dispute was reported at 10:09 p.m. Sept. 29 on Y Camp Road, Madison Township. Deputies were advised nothing happened. EMS checked one person and EMS advised the person was fine. Both parties agreed to separate for the night to avoid problems.

Washingtonville

-- Richard Kennedy of Fredericks burg, Va. was arrested at 11:54 p.m. Sept. 25 for several charges stemming from a traffic stop on state Route 14. Kennedy was stopped for going 67 in a 35 mph zone, passing in a no passing zone. Upon stopping the vehicle, Kennedy appeared impaired and became combative when field sobriety tests were attempted. He ultimately was charged with OVI, assault on a peace officer, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, fictitious plate in addition to the speeding and passing in a no passing zone.

Leetonia

-- Four officers responded at 7:47 p.m. Sept. 26to establish a perimeter at an active burglary scene in the 40000 block of Crestview Road alongside Columbiana police, Washingtonville police, Goshen police, Columbiana County sheriff deputies and the Ohio State Highway Patrol as investigators believed one suspect was still inside and armed but learned he fled after learning his accomplice had been apprehended.

-- Police responded to a domestic dispute at 12:36 a.m. Sept. 26 in the 400 block of Somer Street. The dispute was verbal only, but the male half had grabbed her phone

-- A lost blue heeler dog was reported in the ditch on state Route 344 near Pennex at 11:37 a.m. Sept. 26. He couldn't be found.

-- An officer responded at 6:01 p.m. Sept. 28 to the first block of Pine Street for a neighbor dispute, threatening violence. The report will be forwarded to the prosecutor for possible charges.

-- Police agreed to increase patrols in the 600 block of Cherry Fork at 10 a.m. Sept. 26 after receiving a complaint about loud vehicles in his neighborhood revving their engines.

Columbiana

-- Steven Faulkner, address unknown, was arrested at 6:13 p.m. Sept. 13 on an active warrant on Camelot Drive.
