— Rebecca Louise Chabo, no age or address listed, was cited for left of center following a two-vehicle crash at North Cunningham Avenue and Bentley Drive at 9:15 p.m. Saturday in which she traveled left of center and struck a passing vehicle. No injuries were reported.
— Officers responded to the 800 block of Newgarden Avenue at 7:43 p.m. Saturday where a resident reported someone overnight had cut the wire to his Halloween decoration, which had happened at a prior date and time. The complainant said he would fix the wire himself, but requested an extra patrol of the area.
— Officers responded to a 2800 block East State Street business at 5:27 p.m. Saturday in reference to a man who entered the store on two separate occasions and took merchandise without paying. Officers were provided security video in an attempt to identify the man in question.
— Officers responded to the 700 block of West State Street at 3:42 p.m. Saturday in reference to a report of a man with a gun. Officers determined it to be a verbal dispute and took statements from both people involved.
— Officers responded to the 400 block of Fair Avenue at 9:18 a.m. Saturday to check on the well-being of a resident with whose son had not had contact for over a week. The resident was transported by ambulance to the Salem hospital.
— Officers responded to the 700 block of South Broadway Avenue at 12:31 a.m. Saturday where the complainant said she was hiding behind a dumpster and afraid two other women were going to jump her. Officers found that it was an ongoing feud between the people involved and the complainant wanted the matter documented. Everyone was advised to stay away from each other and the complainant was told how to obtain a protection order.
