--Officers responded to the area of Franklin Avenue and Ohio Avenue at 4:38 a.m. Monday for a reported water main break. Officers located the break, and the water department was contacted. Officers stood by until the water department arrived.
--Officers responded to the 1300 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 10:36 p.m. Monday to deliver a message. The Salem Regional Medical Center advised that a patient was being released and wanted officers to contact a neighbor to pick them up. Officers spoke with the neighbor who advised they would take care of it.
--Officers responded to the area of North Lincoln Avenue at 9:14 p.m. Monday for a reported reckless operator. The caller advised that the vehicle in question was all over the road. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and observed no signs of impairment from the driver.
--Officers responded to the 1200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 7:49 p.m. Monday for a reported verbal domestic dispute. Officers had been to the location earlier in the evening for the same incident. No physical violence had occurred, and the caller collected their belongings and left for the evening.
--Officers responded to the 1200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 6:54 p.m. Sunday for a reported domestic dispute. The caller advised that their father-in-law was intoxicated and being aggressive towards him and the children. Officers spoke with the man, who said that he was not aggressive but wanted the kids to clean up after themselves. The caller and children were transported to the police department until their ride came to pick them up.
--Officers responded to the area of Hawley Avenue and Cleveland Street at 5:09 p.m. Sunday for a reported parking complaint. The caller advised that a vehicle had been sitting in a no parking zone for several days and was sitting with flat tires. Officers were unable to contact the owner of the vehicle, and parking citation was issued. However, officers were later able to reach the owner, who moved the vehicle.
--Officers responded to the 1300 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 3:47 p.m. Sunday for a report of an unknown medical emergency. When officers arrived the woman in question was assessed by medical units and transported to an appropriate medical facility for further evaluation.
--Officers on patrol in the 1000 block of East State Street at 11 a.m. Sunday located a man lying on the ground. It was discovered the man had fallen while walking and sustained an injury and the fire department and EMT responded. The man was transported to an appropriate medical facility for further evaluation.
--Officers responded to the 2300 block of East State Street at 7:55 a.m. Sunday for a reported road rage incident. The incident had started outside of city limits and continued into the city, and officers spoke with both parties involved. Due to conflicting stories, both parties were sent on their way and advised officers will be investigating the matter and checking for any video footage of the incident.
--Officers responded to a business in the 500 block of Broadway Avenue at 1:05 a.m. Sunday for a reported dispute. Officers spoke with the one party, who was walking up the street and advised that he didn't want any problems. Officers were advised by an employee that the other party had broken the door to the business and that the manager wanted the person trespassed and charged. Officers obtained video of the incident, and the other party was trespassed. The video will be sent to the prosecutor's office for review.
--Officers responded to the 600 block of North Howard Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of suspicious activity. The caller advised that two people had placed an Amazon package in his trash can. Officers returned the package to the correct address and advised the caller to contact them if the people returned. Approximately an hour later, the caller advised officers that they had returned and looked in his trash can, and that he had video of them. Officers were unable to locate the men, but had the caller email the video to them.
--Officers responded to the 600 block of Franklin Avenue at 11:48 p.m. Saturday for a reported dispute between a man at the residence and a woman in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle in question and conducted a traffic stop, and the woman advised that they were just arguing and nothing physical had occurred. Officers attempted contact at the residence unsuccessfully.
--Officers responded to the 600 block of East Sixth Street at 9:46 p.m. Saturday for a reported parking complaint. Officers located two vehicles parked on the wrong side of the roadway in front of no parking signs, and left parking violation warnings with both vehicles.
