Sheriff’s Office
— A man on Buck Road, Knox Township reported at 4:47 p.m. Wednesday that his 15-year-old daughter was being harassed on her TikTok accounts by an unknown user. He was advised to block the account and contact the administrator of TikTok.
— A Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday to a residence on Buck Road, Knox Township to make contact with a person for the Stark County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy spoke with the person via the security system at the home and advised him to contact Stark County.
— A man on Woodland Avenue, Salem called at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday to request a welfare check on his two daughters that he had not had contact with since Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, who reside with their mother in Hanover Township. A deputy spoke to the two daughters, ages 10 and 15, who were fine.

— Officers gave a person who came to the police department a ride to their residence on South Lincoln Avenue at 1:23 a.m. Thursday due to weather conditions.
— Officers responded to the 1800 block of East State Street at 8:06 p.m. Wednesday for a possible dispute. The caller advised that a man and woman were yelling at teach other somewhere near the street but couldn’t see them or provide a direction of travel. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate anyone.
— Officers responded to the 100 block of Park Drive at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday for a wellness check. Officers were able to speak with the person in question who advised they were OK and were out of town.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of East Seventh Street at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday for a report of an illegally parked vehicle. Officers located the vehicle in question and placed a 48-hour tow notice on it.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of West Ninth Street at 2:29 p.m. Wednesday for a reported scam. The caller advised that someone unknown to them had taken $115 from their account without their knowledge or permission. Officers advised them of some options for dealing with the situation,
— Officers responded with the fire department to the 1000 block of Jennings Avenue at 1:22 p.m. Wednesday for a medical call. Officers stood by until they were no longer needed.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 9:47 a.m. Wednesday for a report of suspicious activity. The caller advised that “a few days ago” her neighbor was looking through her front window. Officers spoke with the neighbors who denied the allegation.
