Salem

– Officers arrested Paul Schrag, 35, last known address East Liverpool, on an active warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Officers after observing him driving through a parking lot in the 2800 block of East State Street at 12:24 p.m. Tuesday and knew he had the warrant for his arrest.

– Officers responded to the 500 block of Walnut Street at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a domestic dispute and spoke with the caller, who said his brother was yelling. Officers spoke with both individuals and advised them to stay away from each other.

– Officers responded to the 600 block of Woodland Avenue at 9:49 p.m. Monday in reference to a person to be removed. Officers arrived and heard yelling inside the home. Officers determined nothing physical had occurred and advised the individuals to separate to calm down.

– Officers arrested Donna May, 39, Salem, for drug paraphernalia and an active warrant after officers observed her walking in the area of South Lundy Avenue and Franklin Street at 9:08 p.m. Monday and knew her to have the active warrant.

– Officers were flagged down in the rear parking lot of the police department at 6:36 p.m. Monday by a woman who wanted to talk about her son abusing his medication. Her son had followed her to the police department because he know she was making a report in reference to him. Officers spoke with both individuals and the woman left to get away from her son.

– David M. Butcher, 53, Salem, was charged with criminal trespass after officers responded to the 800 block of East Third Street at 5:20 p.m. Monday where he allegedly entered an apartment without permission.

– Officers responded to the 600 block of Aetna Street at 10:40 a.m. Monday in reference to a possible natural death. A local funeral home responded to transfer the deceased individual.

– Officers responded to the 1000 block of East 10th Street at 6:57 a.m. Monday in reference to a theft of medication. Officers explained the options to the caller, who said they just wanted the matter documented
