Salem
— A suspicious person was reported in the 400 block of Reilly Avenue at 2:21 a.m. Tuesday. Officers spoke with the person and advised them of track hours and that they needed to leave.
— Loud people were reported at the tennis courts at Waterworth Memorial Park at 12:16 a.m. Tuesday. Officers spoke with several people playing pickleball and advised them of the park’s hours.
— Officers on patrol located two vehicles parked at Waterworth Memorial Park after hours at 11:36 p.m. Monday. The vehicles were unoccupied and nobody was located in the area.
— A juvenile reportedly threw a rock at a vehicle in the area of North Ellsworth Avenue and East Fourth Street at 4:03 p.m. Monday. Officers spoke with the juvenile and their parent and advised them of the possible consequences had the vehicle been damaged.
— Officers conducted a wellness check on a man in the 300 block of Fair Avenue at 2:39 p.m. Monday. Officers spoke with the man in question, and everything checked okay.
Leetonia
— Officers on patrol in the area of Madison Avenue and State Street observed two juveniles on private property at 6:44 p.m. Monday. The juveniles advised they were taking photos, and officers advised them to stay away from the railroad tracks.
— Officers spoke with two men who were train watching on Washington Street near the bike trail at 9:46 p.m. Sunday. Officers advised the men to leave the area.
— A woman was reported acting unnaturally at a business on Hazel Street at 7:59 p.m. Saturday. Officers spoke with the woman, who was confused and did not make sense during the conversation. Officers were advised by the woman’s mother that they have a brain tumor that is causing them to behave strangely.
— Officers assisted the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office with a person experiencing a mental episode that had potentially assaulted other residents in the 2500 block of Leetonia Road at 11:45 a.m. Saturday.
— Stefan White was cited for OVI, left of center, and a headlight violation after their westbound vehicle on state Route 344 was observed with a headlight out at 12:14 a.m. Saturday.
— A potential break-in of a vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Somer Street at 11:15 p.m. May 29. Officers canvassed the area and determined that two people had been involved and fled the area in a vehicle.
— Officers located an accident involving a Leetonia school bus and a motorcycle in the area of Leetonia Road and Lodge Road at 4:13 p.m. May 27. Officers notified dispatch of the situation and remained on scene until the Ohio State Highway Patrol arrived on scene to do an accident investigation.
— Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the first block of Main Street at 11:51 a.m. May 23. The driver advised that they had accidentally turned on the wrong road while delivering for Uber Eats, and officers escorted them off the property and had him follow them to the correct address.
Lisbon
— Officers responded to an East Lincoln Way business at 8:40 a.m. May 27 in reference to a 911 hang-up call. Officers spoke with the caller who said he kept calling because he wanted to speak with a retired chief deputy. Officers advised the caller to only use 911 for emergencies.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of North Market Street at 5:18 a.m. May 26 in reference to an intoxicated man. Officers found the person in question to be extremely intoxicated and escorted him home, issuing him a verbal warning for public intoxication and advising him not to leave his home for the remainder of the night.
— Officers responded to the 200 block of East Chestnut Street at 12:55 p.m. May 25 where a caller reported someone had placed a glass jar of baby food under her tire.
— Officers responded to a North Market Street business at 8:38 p.m. May 19 and advised a woman to stop yelling and throwing items at vehicles.
— Officers responded to Apple Grove Apartments on Saltwell Road at 8:56 a.m. May 19 in reference to a man sitting in a vehicle excessively honking the horn. Officers found the man and determined he had a suspended driver’s license. He as advised of the complaint and warned if he was observed driving on the roadway he would be cited.
— An officer responded to a 200 block East Lincoln Way business at 3:16 p.m. May 18 in reference to an irate customer and found the customer acting disorderly. The customer was asked to leave the business and was trespassed from returning.
