Salem

— Brian Spencer II, 20, Salem, was cited for driving under suspension after his vehicle was observed driving recklessly in the parking lot of a business in the 2900 block of East State Street at 11:23 p.m. Sunday.

— Officers spoke with a man at the police department at 7:05 p.m. Sunday about being threatened. The man advised his son-in-law had approached him and began threatening him and showed officers a recording he had made of the conversation. The man did not want to pursue charges but wanted the incident to be documented and the son-in-law to be instructed not to speak to him anymore.

— Menacing was reported in the 600 block of East Second Street at 5:36 p.m. Sunday. The incident is under investigation.

— A potential sex offense was reported in the 2500 block of Bentley Drive at 2:50 p.m. Sunday. Officers gathered the necessary information and will forward the incident to a detective.

— A possible no contact order violation was reported in the 400 block of East School Street at 8:41 a.m. Sunday. The caller advised that while they were driving the person they have a protection order against swerved and spit at their vehicle as they drove by, and that due to past issues with them they wanted to make a complaint. They were advised that the incident would be forwarded to their probation officer.

— Alleged threats were reported in the 500 block of South Broadway Avenue at 1:06 a.m. Sunday. The caller advised a man had threatened them at a business and potential had a firearm. Officers spoke with the man in question who did not know what the complaint was about and gave officers consent to search. No firearm was located.

— A e-scooter was reported stolen in the 400 block of East Pershing Street at 10:16 p.m. Saturday. Officers gathered information about the scooter and advised them that they would attempt to look for it on the city’s surveillance. The juvenile was given a ride back to their residence.

— A juvenile complaint was reported in the 400 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 3:06 p.m. Saturday. The caller advised that their grandson had been bullied at Waterworth Memorial Parks and wanted the incident to be documented due to how frequently it had occurred. An extra patrol will be provided in the area where the incidents are occurring.

— While conducting an OVI investigation, the 500 block of South Broadway Avenue officers gave an extremely intoxicated individual a ride to the police department to wait for a sober ride at 2:59 a.m. Saturday. The man, Vincent Tibbs, 23, Cleveland, was warned to remain in the lobby at the police department for his ride and to not go outside intoxicated multiple times. A short time later, Tibbs walked outside and was taken into custody charged with disorderly conduct and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.

— Cody Pfouts, 30, Salem, was cited for OVI and improper backing after his vehicle struck a parked vehicle in a parking lot in the 500 block of South Broadway Avenue at 2:15 a.m. Saturday.

— A combative patient was reported in the 1100 block of Benton Road at 7:48 p.m. Friday. The caller advised that the patient had been chasing them around the facility and they had locked themselves in the kitchen. First responders and EMT responded, and the patient was voluntarily transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Perry Township

— Angus Cope, 22, Kensington, was cited for OVI at 2:22 a.m. Sunday.

— Donald Rock, 79, Salem, was cited for failure to yield after his southbound vehicle on Cunningham Road struck a vehicle driven eastbound on state Route 344 by William Roberts, 68, Rogers, at 7:47 p.m. Friday.

— Jason Anderson, 39, Salem, was taken into custody charged with OVI and assured clear distance ahead after officers on patrol located a crash in the 1800 block of South Lincoln Avenue near East Pidgeon Road at 1:17 p.m. Thursday. Anderson was later released to a sober person.

Sheriff’s Office

–A deputy was dispatched at 6:39 p.m. Thursday to Creek Road, New Waterford for an aggravated menacing report, with a warrant issued through Columbiana County Municipal Court for a North Lima man for aggravated menacing.

Lisbon

— An officer responded to the 100 block of South Green Street at 10:52 a.m. June 9 where the residents reported the children of a relative had manipulated their truck. Since their was no evidence of vandalism, the juveniles were only trespassed from the property.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of Green Street at 11:37 p.m. June 14 in reference to a possible burglary in which a resident reported hearing a loud noise from his backyard and finding his garage door and fence gate open. The resident reported seeing a young male, possibly a juvenile, running down the street. Officers were unable to find the suspect. The caller said nothing was taken from the garage.

Leetonia

— Vladislav Neboga, no age or address listed, was cited for driving under suspension and speeding following a traffic stop at State and Water streets at 6:31 p.m. June 16.

Columbiana

— Officers responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian incident in the 100 block of East State Route 14 at 8:49 p.m. June 12.

— Scott Jackson, 52, New Waterford, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop at state routes 7 and 14 at 11:36 p.m. June 11.

— Donald Wallace, 24, Salem, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 46 at 10:22 p.m. June 11.

— Jeremy Farris, 27, Struthers, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 46 in the 1100 block of Village Plaza at 9:56 p.m. June 11.

— Police took a report at 9:44 a.m. June 11 of stolen check from United Rentals.

— Davon London, 27, Struthers, was cited for expired registration and driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 164 at 1:15 a.m. June 11.

— Colton T. Parker, 18, New Waterford, was cited for speeding following a traffic stop at 8 a.m. June 9 at state routes 7 and 46.
