LISBON – In Columbiana County Common Pleas court, Anastasha Blinn, 43, Maple Street, Lisbon, was placed on a treatment plan under the direction of the Columbiana County Adult Probation Department for two years after pleading guilty to counts of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing amphetamines on Nov. 7, 2024.
Also in common pleas court:
– Bailey Riddle, 24, Firestone Avenue, Columbiana, was placed on a treatment plan under the direction of the Columbiana County Adult Probation Department for two years after pleading guilty to counts of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing methamphetamine and methylenedioxymethamphetamine on Sept. 22, 2025.
Municipal
LISBON — A Hanoverton man is facing jail time and fines for threatening a Salem police officer.
Nicholas Potts, 40, Randel Road, Hanoverton, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 130 days suspended and credit for two days served and fined $500 for aggravated menacing amended form intimidation for threatening a Salem police officer while being transported to the Columbiana County Jail on June 6.
Shawn Paulin, 46, Van Buren Drive, Salem, was sentenced to 52 days in jail with credit for 52 days served and fined $300 for resisting arrest and obstructing official business for pulling away from officers while being handcuffed and while being escorted out of a Salem residence, dropping to the ground limp and refusing to stand back up once outside and after being carried to the cruiser refusing to sit inside and attempting to jump out of the vehicle on April 23.
Pierce Stell, 21, Buckeye Circle, Salem, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended and fined $550 for obstructing official business and two counts of disorderly conduct which were amended from domestic violence and resisting arrest for fleeing from and resisting officers in Salem on Jan. 10.
Santana Garcia, 27, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from assault for punching a woman at a Lisbon business on Nov. 29.
David Bell, 34, James Drive, Wellsville, was fined $25 for disorderly conduct amended from menacing for chasing a man through the woods in Salineville on Sept. 27, 2025. A second charge of menacing was dismissed.
Martin Heather, 47, Kings Court, Leetonia, was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served and fined $250 for disorderly conduct amended from menacing for continuing to contact a woman despite being ordered to stop twice prior by officers.
Lance Morris, 38, Hilltop Drive, Lisbon, was fined $450 for two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and a turn signal violation for possessing a container for storing dangerous drugs with residue during a traffic stop in Salem on March 27, and for possessing two filters for the smoking of dangerous drugs during a traffic stop in Salem on April 27.
Kayla Clingerman, 39, Chalmers Avenue, Youngstown, was sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined $300 for obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia for initially opening the door of a vacant residence before shutting it and locking it to delay officers in Salem on June 14 and possessing a small plastic bag containing a crystalline substance at that time.
James Yacobucci, 56, Convenience Circle, North Canton, was sentenced to 25 days in jail with credit for 25 days served and fined $200 for receiving stolen property for taking a stolen side-by-side to a West Township residence on April 8, 2025.
Christian Ella, 24, West State Street, Salem, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended and fined $975 for OVI, speeding, and a turn signal violation.
A preliminary hearing was set June 24 for Ronald Boyer, 53, Wilson Street, Salineville, charged with obstructing justice for allegedly providing officers a false account of his assistance to an escaped inmate in East Liverpool on June 13.
A preliminary hearing was set June 24 for Scott Bailey, 56, East Third Street, Salem, charged with fourth-degree felony violating a protection order for allegedly being in contact with the protected person in Salem on June 13.
A preliminary hearing was set June 24 for Robert Davis, 40, La Croft Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with fifth-degree felony theft for allegedly taking a saw valued at $2,249.99 from a St. Clair Township business without paying on May 27.
A pretrial was set Aug. 3 for Michelle Mahler, 48, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening to kill a man in Columbiana on May 14.
A pretrial was set Aug. 18 for Michael Tolley, 36, Dail Road, Carrollton, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking a female juvenile in Salem on June 12. A pretrial was set Aug. 18 for Thomas Taylor, 57, West Drive, Nelsonville, charged with possessing drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a burnt glass pipe with residue in East Liverpool on June 13.
A pretrial was set Aug. 12 for David Talbott, 35, Henry Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug abuse instruments, and criminal trespass for allegedly entering another person’s property and possessing a pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamines and a syringe with an unknown liquid inside in East Liverpool on June 12.
A pretrial was set Aug. 11 for Nicholas Roberts Jr., 45, Fairview Avenue, Newton Falls, charged with theft for allegedly taking merchandise totaling $439.99 in value from a Salem business without paying on Dec. 15, 2022.
A pretrial was set July 27 for Eugene Gaston, 41, Morgantown, West Virginia, charged with engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools for arranging to meet with an undercover agent from the Mahoning County Human Trafficking Task Force in East Palestine on April 2 for sexual activity in exchange for $80 and possessing the cellular device used to arrange the criminal act at that time.
A pretrial was set Aug. 4 for Brandi Pardell, 40, Irish Ridge, East Liverpool, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest for allegedly damaging the landscaping of a St. Clair Township residence, refusing to leave the residence and pulling away from officers and screaming when placed under arrest on June 14.
A pretrial was set June 29 for Timothy Reaves, 37, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly choking a woman and punching her repeatedly in East Liverpool on June 14.
A pretrial was set Aug. 11 for Jessica Krince, 39, state Route 164, Lisbon, charged with endangering children for allegedly encouraging a juvenile to contact a person who had allegedly sexually abused them and allowing that person to move back into the residence with the minor without notifying law enforcement from November 2023 through September 2024 in in Lisbon.
A pretrial was set June 29 for Robert Bortz, 85, Votaw Drive, Lisbon, charged with violating a protection order for allegedly screaming at and making a rude gesture at the protected person in Lisbon on June 11.
A pretrial was set June 29 for Vincent Dimaggio, 57, Ninth Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing items at a woman causing blood to come out of their nose and redness on their upper left arm in Liverpool Township on June 12.
Nikolaos Trikilis, 22, Campbell, was fined $750 and and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools, with 20 hours community service and an already completed education course ordered. Trikilis responded to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranged for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for $150 to be paid via the Cash App., then drove to East Palestine on Jan. 23 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
Thomas Joseph Duffy, 63, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $750 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools,, with 20 hours community service and a now completed education course ordered. Duffy responded to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website of two women and arranged for sexual activity with them in exchange for $140, then traveled to East Palestine on Jan. 29 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
A pretrial was set June 22 for Ricardo Gonzalez Jr., 36, Canton, charged with obstructing official business, two counts of resisting arrest, operating a vehicle impaired second offense, OVI breath second offense and driving under suspension. During a traffic stop, he allegedly ran from the vehicle on June 9 in Salem, through yards and over fences and when confronted and told to stop he refused, ran and jumped off of a balcony and was tased by a police officer. On May 23 in Columbiana, an officer saw him at a known drug house and was aware he had active warrants through the Adult Parole Authority, but when approached, he said his name was not Ricardo several times, then attempted to flee on foot and fought the officer and escaped between houses. The traffic charges stem from a traffic stop in Rogers in April.
Matthew J. Campbell, 43, Youngstown, was fined $200 for disorderly conduct amended from telecommunications harassment, with another charge of telecommunications harassment dismissed. Campbell was sending multiple text messages and phone calls to a woman even after she said not to contact her on Aug. 21, 2025 in Salem.
Ariel L. Durham, 37, Duck Creek Road, Salem, was fined $450 and sentenced to six days in jail, with credit for six days served for three counts of criminal trespass. She trespassed at a Salem property on June 3 after previously being trespassed from the property. She also trespassed on May 1 on the grounds of a Salem property she had been trespassed from previously. Police responded to a call about a prowler and learned she was banging on the door and woke up the whole family, then walked to a neighbors and was using a swing. She was then seen walking around the back of the Salem property. On May 9, she trespassed at Speedway in Salem.
A pretrial was set Aug. 19 on Jennifer M. Brooks, 44, South Arch Avenue, Alliance, charged with theft for allegedly stealing $39 worth of items from Duchess, U.S. 62, Knox Township, where she was working, leaving the store without paying for five packs of cigarettes, three bottles of pop and a frozen drink on April 28.
A pretrial was set June 17 for Kacandra I. Seddon, 45, Lisa Lane, Lisbon, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly trespassing on a Depot Road, Lisbon property on June 10, after she was prohibited from returning to the property due to a still pending trespass incident involving the same property.
A pretrial was set Aug. 24 for Landon Xavier Linville, 18, Thompson Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly taking bicycles from the back patio of an East Liverpool property on June 7.
A pretrial was set Aug. 11 for Michelle Rae Carosiello, 43, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, charged with theft for allegedly failing to pay a $23 fare with Tri-County Cab in St. Clair Township after receiving a ride on June 3.
A pretrial was set Aug. 18 for Karen Sue Culp, 41, Holliday Street, East Liverpool, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a digital scale, smoking device commonly used to smoke crack cocaine and a bag with a white rock substance believed to be crack cocaine during an incident May 20, 2025 in a vehicle at the Gretchen’s Lock area of Beaver Creek State Park in St. Clair Township.
A pretrial was set Aug. 18 for Tracy Renee Douds, 48, Midland, Pa., charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having two smoking devices used to smoke crack cocaine and a paper fold with an unknown substance inside during an incident May 20, 2025 in a vehicle at the Gretchen’s Lock area of Beaver Creek State Park in St. Clair Township.
Zackary J. McFarland, 28, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served, for drug paraphernalia for possessing a pipe with burnt residue and two clear baggies with a white crystal substance during a traffic stop on April 7 in Salem when he was a passenger.
A pretrial was set July 28 for Raquel Lynn Lester, 41, Warren, charged with drug paraphernalia and physical control for allegedly possessing suspected methamphetamine and a glass smoking device used to smoke meth when police officers arrived at Sheetz in St. Clair Township for a woman slumped over in a car on June 9.
Scott R. Jones, 45, Alliance, was fined $450 and sentenced to 12 days in jail, with credit for 12 days served, for criminal damaging, driving under suspension and a turn signal violation. Jones was accused of damaging the window at State Street Tattoo in Salem by drawing a male sex organ on the windows with a black sharpie on April 4, 2025.
Ginger Ann Crum, 47, Sell Road, Lisbon, was fined $200 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for theft, with 20 hours community service ordered. She was ordered to have no contact with Calcutta Walmart. She was accused of ticket switching multiple items, failing to pay for 44 items totaling $344 at the Calcutta Walmart on Feb. 10.
A non-prosecution agreement was approved, with Ashley Juarez, Grimms Bridge Road, East Liverpool, ordered to surrender two dogs, not own or harbor any animal and allow the Columbiana County Humane Society or other law enforcement to do random, unannounced daylight inspections to ensure compliance, all in exchange for no criminal charges being filed related to an animal seizure that occurred on May 28 at her property, with unsanitary conditions, no food and no water noted. The agreement will terminate on May 28, 2028.
A sentencing hearing was set Aug. 24 for Arthur R. Knox, 60, Monaca, Pa., who entered a guilty plea to physical control amended from OVI and speeding, with another OVI dismissed.
A pretrial was set July 28 for Andrea L. Abbott, 46, Akron, charged with OVI first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, driving under suspension and a tail lights violation.
A sentencing hearing was set Aug. 10 for Tyler A. Heffner, 22, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, who entered a guilty plea to domestic violence. Heffner was accused of threatening a woman on video on June 5 in Wellsville.
A court trial was set June 17 for Mark Allen Schrecengost, 36, state Route 170, East Palestine, charged with two counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling profanities and abusive language at a neighbor on May 24 in Unity Township and then also on May 27 at the mobile home park walking through the flower bed and kicking mulch out onto the road.
A pretrial was set Aug. 11 for James Leroy Bollinger, 62, Front Street, Negley, charged with criminal damaging, obstructing official business, failure to stop after an accident, reckless operation and slow speed for an alleged road rage incident when he allegedly intentionally sideswiped a vehicle, prompting the victim to stop the vehicle, then Bollinger intentionally struck the rear of the victim’s vehicle. The victim got the license plate of the teal truck which fled the scene, which came back to the defendant. When contacted by police, Bollinger denied being in the accident and claimed he didn’t own the teal truck, then when confronted with the evidence, claimed to be the victim of the hit and run and said he parked his truck on the street. Police found the truck and learned the license plate had been removed and hidden in the cab to conceal the owner’s identity.
