Sheriff’s Office
— A deputy returned a call at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday to an out-of-state person regarding a trespass complaint involving a property on Walnut Street, Rogers. The person said they live out of state, but someone may have moved into a property they had for sale that’s in unliveable condition. The deputy checked the residence and found signs someone moved in, but there was no one there.
Salem
— Officers responded to the 600 block of Woodland Avenue at 1:18 p.m. Thursday in reference to the caller’s roommate slashing their boyfriend’s tires and breaking a dresser drawer during a dispute before leaving the residence. No one wished to press charges as long as the person in question paid for new tires.
— Officers responded to the 1400 block of Franklin Avenue at 11:14 p.m. Wednesday in reference to a suspicious woman walking in the roadway. Officers found the woman on state Route 344. Perry Township officers responded and the woman was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of East Pine Lake Road at 10:17 p.m. Wednesday to assist Perry Township officers with a report of a suspicious person looking under a vehicle.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of East Third Street at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday where a caller reported someone had blown grass all over him outside their duplex and attempted to run him over with the lawn mower. Officers spoke with the other person involved who said the caller had attacked him while he was mowing the grass, attempting to flip over the mower, and showed injuries he sustained. The matter was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.
