Salem
— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Maple Street at 9:23 p.m. Saturday in reference to a dispute. Officers found no violence had occurred, but one of the people involved was in need of mental health assistance and was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
— Chad Williamson, Perry Grange Road, Salem, was charged with theft after officers responded to a 2800 block East State Street business at 7:04 p.m. Saturday where he allegedly place a bottle of whiskey and a radio into his pants and passed all points of sale.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of East Sixth Street at 7:45 a.m. Saturday where a resident reported someone had broken into his locked garage and took his electric bike without permission.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of East Second Street at 10:35 p.m. Friday where a caller reported his passenger side windshield wiper had been snapped off and advised of a previous incident in which the vehicle had been keyed. Officers advised the caller to park out in the open of a parking lot that has surveillance so if something happens to the vehicle, it can be observed.
