Sheriff's Office

- A deputy responded to South Grant Street at 7:04 p.m. July 23 in reference to a pig roaming in the roadway abandoned by its previous owner. The deputy had a humane officer respond to take the pig.

- A Mississippi resident reported at 6:05 p.m. July 23 a friend had posted on Facebook she was going to commit suicide at the East Carmel Cemetery in Middleton Township. A deputy checked the cemetery with negative contact. The phone of the person in question pinged to a location in Asheville, North Carolina, and the deputy contacted that police department.

- A Grant Street, Center Township, resident reported at 3:58 p.m. July 23, reported the strap that was holding her outdoor camera to a tree was cut off and the camera fell to the ground

- A Yellow Creek Township resident reported at 3:52 p.m. July 23 the mother of his son came to his residence the previous night while he was at work. He said the mother is not permitted to be on his property, but continues to harass him over his underage niece watching their son while he works over night. He was advised to contact his attorney.

Columbiana

- Officers assisted the Columbiana and Beaver Township fire departments with a fire at a Village Court residence at 5:50 p.m. July 15.

- Officers responded to Heartland Christian School at 9:09 p.m. July 14 to assist the sheriff's office with a medical call. The patient was transported by Columbiana EMS.

- A woman reported at 2:39 p.m. July 13 a dispute over property. The officer provided options.

- An Apache Lane resident reported at 1:37 p.m. July 13 the theft of medication.
