-- A deputy at 6:56 p.m. Monday assisted St. Clair Township Police at the KFC in Calcutta with two people wanted for detainment by ICE. The deputy was asked to transport a person identified as Luis Fernando Gurrion-Jimenez, 29, no address listed, due to one of the St. Clair Township officers needing to respond to a different call. The deputy took him into custody and transported him to the county jail on the detainer issued by ICE. The other person was identified as Isai Jielmer Gurrion-Jimenez, 35, no address listed, who was transported by St. Clair Township Police to the jail on the same detainer.
-- A deputy responded at 10:19 p.m. Sunday to Hazel Run Road, Salineville for a woman who attempted suicide and was met by her and a relative. She said she was feeling fine. EMS personnel arrived shortly after and took care of her, then the deputy cleared the scene due to a pending call for a domestic, with EMS saying it was okay. He advised the woman's relative to call if any other issues arose.
-- Deputies responded at 2:48 a.m. Aug. 15 to a residence on state Route 45 South in Madison Township for a report of menacing. The caller advised a man she's familiar with was at her door knocking and attempting to get in by force. Deputies checked the door and found no physical damage to the door. Deputies checked the rest of the property and spoke with a neighbor who said no one was around all night.
-- Deputies were called at 1:10 a.m. Aug. 15 to an open field on private property near the cell tower/Oak Tree on Sixteen School Road for a report of an underage drinking party. Deputies came into contact with several people who had a bonfire and were not underage. They were checked for warrants and warned they were trespassing on private property since none of them were the property owners. They were given rides by non-drinking people and left the property.
-- Deputies responded to the Lisbon Police Department at 3:31 a.m. Aug. 14 for a man who said he assaulted someone and it was unclear where the assault had taken place. Deputies learned the man was suffering from a mental health crisis and was only wanting to be arrested. He was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital for an evaluation. No assault had taken place.

-- A man was reported sitting in the roadway in the area of South Broadway Avenue and Aetna Street at 12:31 a.m. Wednesday. Officers spoke with the man, who was walking north on South Broadway, and advised that he had stopped to sit because his stomach was hurting. The man advised that he was okay and did not need anything.
-- A juvenile issue was reported in the 900 block of Prospect Street at 10:29 p.m. Tuesday. The caller advised that a juvenile who had been reported missing has been living with them for a couple of weeks. Officers spoke with child protective services, which advised that the juvenile could stay at the residence, and they would contact the caller the next day.
-- A domestic in progress was reported in the 800 block of Granite Avenue at 8:59 p.m. Tuesday. The caller advised that she and the male half had been arguing and they had pulled out a firearm and held it to their own head. The male half advised that he has had family issues and has just been upset. The fire department and EMT responded to the scene and the man was transported to the Salem Regional Medical Center.
-- Officers spoke with a person at the police department at 7:29 p.m. Tuesday who advised they might have information relating to a fire in East Liverpool. Officers gathered the information and will forward it to the appropriate authorities.
-- Officers located two wanted individuals from a prior incident in the 600 block of East State Street at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday. Officers took Lori Whitman, 56, Salem, and David Welch II, 48, Salem, into custody charged with obstructing justice and transported them to the Columbiana County Jail. While at the jail, Whitman experienced a medical issue requiring an ambulance and was transported to the Salem Regional Medical Center. After being medically cleared, Whitman was transported back to the county jail.
-- A neighbor dispute was reported in the 100 block of Rose Avenue at 4:56 p.m. Tuesday. The caller advised a neighbor has been yelling obscenities, being loud and had threatened to damage property. The caller requested the matter be documented with a report on file.
-- Officers took a report of menacing at the police department at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday. Officers were advised that a woman had made threatening comments to the caller via text message and driven to their residence. The woman in question left the caller's residence before officers arrived, but officers located their vehicle while checking the area and conducted a traffic stop. The woman Arys Petties, Youngstown, was taken into custody charged with menacing and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
-- Officers assisted members of the U.S. Marshal's Service, the Columbiana County Drug Enforcement Task Force, and the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office in locating a wanted person in the 300 block of Vine Avenue at 10:57 a.m. Tuesday. The person in question, whose name was not listed, was taken into custody by a U.S. Marshal without issue and transported to the Columbiana County Jail by the sheriff's department.
-- Criminal trespass was reported in the 100 block of West State Street at 9:56 a.m. Tuesday. Officers were advised that a man had come into a business wearing very little clothing and large dog the night before and had been making customers feel uncomfortable. A criminal trespass form was completed, and the man was advised he could be arrested if he returned to the business.
-- Officers on patrol in the 2300 block of East State Street at 12:37 a.m. Tuesday observed a person going through the dumpster. Officers advised them that the business does not want people going through their dumpster, and the person advised they would clean up and go on their way.
-- A suspicious person was reported in the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday. Officers observed two people sitting on the steps of the bank who advised that they were cleaning the building.
-- Officers spoke with a person at the police department in the 1200 block of East Third Street at 10:10 p.m. Monday. They advised that someone had placed a tracking tag on their vehicle and requested officers destroy it.
-- A suspicious person was reported in the 600 block of East State Street at 8:58 p.m. Monday. The caller advised that a man was swearing at them when she and her friend attempted to get their scooters. Officers spoke with the person who denied saying anything to anyone.
-- A small juvenile was reported walking in the 900 block of East Third Street unsupervised at 6:05 p.m. Monday. Officers located the child a block and a half away from their residence and walked them back to their residence. Officers spoke with the child's mother and advised her that the matter would be forwarded to children's services.
-- Clinton Scott III, 48, Columbiana, was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant in the area of South Lundy Avenue and Aetna Street and transported to the Columbiana County Jail at 4:37 p.m. Monday.
-- A juvenile that had been transported to the Salem Regional Medical Center due to making threats of self-harm was reported refusing to go inside for treatment at 4:01 p.m. Monday. Officers spoke with the juvenile, and they went inside and were admitted without issue.
-- Suspicious activity was reported in the 1300 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 2:32 p.m. Tuesday. The caller advised that someone had removed their screen door in the middle of the night. Officers did not observe any damage but added an additional watch in the area.
-- A possible scam was reported in the 1400 block of Southeast Boulevard at 9:30 a.m. Monday. The caller advised that they had been in contact with a person selling an RV out of state and that some of their details seemed suspicious. Officers ran the name and date of birth associated with the ID the person provided the caller and found it to be invalid. Officers advised the caller of their findings and to block the individual.
Leetonia
- An officer responded to the 100 block of Lisbon Street at 12:34 a.m. Aug. 23 in reference to a vehicle in the private drive with its four-ways on. The officer was unable to find the vehicle in question.
- An officer at 7:23 p.m. Aug. 21 attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle at State and Water streets that was traveling 55 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone. The officer stopped pursuit at village limits and advised dispatch that the vehicle was westbound on state Route 344 toward Salem.
