-- A vehicle fire was reported in the 400 block of West Sixth Street at 8:36 p.m. Friday. When firefighters arrived, they located a Jeep Wrangler in the driveway of a residence with smoke in the passenger compartment but no obvious flames. A water can was brought to the car, and firefighters found a small flame inside the vehicle on the floorboard under the steering wheel which was extinguished. The vehicle's battery was disconnected, the vehicle was checked with a thermal imaging camera to ensure there were no hot spots, and the damage was photographed.
