SALEM — Firefighters were called at 7:31 p.m. Thursday to Gene’s Drive-Thru, 1750 E. State St., for an alarm activation. No fire or smoke was showing and nothing was found during a search of the building. The smoke alarm had activated and was reset with no problems.
