Sheriff’s Office — Deputies at 11:52 a.m. Sunday provided mutual aid to the Ohio State Highway Patrol regarding a vehicle that crashed and was blocking Old Irondale Road in Yellow Creek Township. The operator of the vehicle was reported as being combative and refusing to exit the vehicle. Anthony Powell, 34, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, was later charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest and fourth-degree felony assault on a peace officer.
