Municipal LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Shawn L. Paulin Sr., 47, Van Buren Drive, Salem, were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony assault on a police officer and misdemeanors of domestic violence, resisting arrest and obstructing official business. A theft charge was dismissed. On April 23 in Perry Township, Paulin allegedly pushed a woman down onto a bed and she fell off the bed and onto the floor and then he fled. Sheriff’s Office — A deputy at 10:10 p.m. Saturday assisted Ohio State Highway Patrol Post 15 with a reckless driver on Sprucevale Road heading towards Rogers, with the blue Chevy truck reportedly behind the deputy as he was clearing another call. The deputy proceeded behind the vehicle and saw two separate lane violations over the yellow line.
