SEBRING -- Ralph Adams, 89, of Sebring, died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, at the Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio.
He was born March 8, 1927, in Haywood, W.Va., the son of the late Ethel (Powell) Weaver.
Mr. Adams was a graduate of Niles High School. Ralph worked as a Postmaster in Madison, Ohio. He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the First Friends Church in Salem, and Kiwanis for many years in Madison. He served in the U.S. Navy during the end of World War II and the Korean War.
His first wife, Ruby (Claypool) Adams, preceded him in death Jan. 29, 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Rosann (Richards) King Adams, whom he married Feb. 4, 1994; a daughter, Kathy Houser of Birmingham, Ala.; a son, Donald (Barbara) King of Salem; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Fairview Cemetery in Madison, Ohio, with Dr. William Harvey and the Rev. Mark George officiating.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Copeland Oaks Chapel with Dr. William Harvey and the Rev. Mark George officiating.
