Daniel W. Rhodes Jr.
1943-2023
SALEM - Daniel W. Rhodes Jr., 79, passed away on Feb. 1, 2023, at Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 9, 1943, in Canton to Daniel W. and Ardith (Brown) Rhodes Sr.
Daniel worked as a forklift driver with General Motors for 40 years. He was also a member of the Youngstown Rifle and Pistol Club.
Along with his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean (Soliday) Rhodes, whom he married on Sept. 8, 1962. He is also preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel W. (Tracy) Rhodes III of Salem and Bryan A. Rhodes of Warren; a sister, Patricia Cross of Alliance; brother, Glenn (Hope) Rhodes of Canfield; and one grandchild.
Per his wishes no services will be held. Burial will take place at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
