1948-2023
Linda Sue Davis, 75, of Douglasville, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023. Born April 17, 1948 in Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Russell Jackson and the late Mrs. Betty Jane Jackson. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Mr. Charles Davis of Douglasville, Ga.; son, Jacob (Christina) Davis of Douglasville, Ga.; daughter, Stacey Davis of Akron, Ohio; sister, Wendy (Rhea) Lane of Hanoverton, Ohio; brother, Richard (Pierrette) Jackson of Woodbridge, Va.; and grandchildren, Aria, Anya, Nathan and Eli.
She enjoyed bowling, staying current with her favorite soap opera and serving her community. She took pride in operating the family business, Jackson's Market, for over 30 years before her retirement. Linda's true passion was her family. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and she took immense pride in watching them grow into remarkable individuals.
Linda's memory will forever be engraved in the lives she touched with her love, compassion and devotion.
