BELOIT - Sylvia Eller, 85, passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, at Salem Regional Medical Center with her children by her side.
Sylvia was born May 27, 1938, in Bluefield, W.Va., to the late Vadis and Ida Underwood.
A Baptist by faith, Slyvia was homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking and bird watching. She was an area resident for 40 years alongside her husband, Llyod Eller Jr., who preceded her in death in October 2022.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dwayne Gibson of Stokesdale, N.C., Danita (Eddie) Lambert of Petersburg, W.Va., and Darryl Gibson of Bluefield, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at Stark Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with burial to take place at Highland Memorial Park.
