SALEM -- Suzanne Ruth Hovanic, 76, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at her residence in Beloit.
Suzanne was born on May 26, 1947, in Warren, the daughter of John and Elnora (Jones) Hovanic.
Suzanne was a 1965 graduate of Salem High School and attended the Ohio State. Suzanne worked at Crandall Medical Center in the housekeeping department, retiring in January of 2018. Her interests included camping, gardening, reading, and traveling with her siblings.
Suzanne is survived by one brother, Phillip Hovanic of Salem; three sisters, Gloria Alden of Champion, Elaine Oelker of Hanoverton, Catherine Hovanic of Fircrest, Wash. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Joanne Hovanic of Salem and was the much loved aunt of 13 nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and -nephews.
Besides her parents, John and Elnora, Suzanne was preceded in death by one brother, Jerome Hovanic.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
