WASHINGTONVILLE - Martin J. Limpose Jr., 76, passed away on Feb. 28, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of Martin J. Limpose Sr. and Thelma J. (Hill) Limpose. He was married to his loving wife, Lilane R. (Coy) Limpose, for 54 years.
He leaves two children, Carol J. (Troy) Thompson and Martin J. (Melissa) Limpose III; six grandchildren, Heather Starr, Candice Coplan, Wyatt Woodring, Hunter Woodring, Amelia Limpose, and Mason Limpose; and two great-grandchildren, McKenzie Starr and Audrey Jean. He is also survived by two sisters, Jeanne (Larry) Charneskey and Luann (David) White; and one brother, James A. Limpose (Darlene Ramsey).
He worked as a line leader for First Energy for 38 years, retiring in August 2009. Martin served in Vietnam from 1966-1970 as a member of the U.S. Navy. Martin was a life member of the AMVETS, VFW in Washingtonville, and a 31-year member of the American Legion in Leetonia.
Martin liked to do woodworking and his grandchildren said, "If Grandpa can't fix it. No one can."
