Patty Lou Burnette, 63, of Salem, passed away at 5:53 a.m. Sunday, May 5, 2024 at her home.
She was born July 1, 1960, Ellwood City, Pa., the daughter of the late Walter and Mabel (Glover) Burnette.
Patty was employed at Zarbana Aluminum Extrusion, in Columbiana as a saw operator. She enjoyed going to the casinos several times a year, and to Geneva on the Lake. She liked being a grandma and taking the grandchildren to water parks several times a year. Patty was a family person, who enjoyed classic rock, and loved her cat and bull dog.
She is survived by her companion of over 35 years, Ronald Scott Smith; her children Jeramiah Burnette and Rhonie Burnette of Salem, Jared Burnette of Negley, Paige Lipply of New Middletown, and Phaedra Burnette of Florida; nine grandchildren; her siblings, Rick Burnette, Timothy Burnette, Eugene Burnette, Daniel Burnette, Rhonda Lipply, Linda Barrett, Lisa Burnette, Sherry Burnette, Sarah Lowrey.
In addition to her parents, she is perceded in death by her siblings David Burnette, Randy Burnette, Claudette Van Housson and Debbie Lipply.
Services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. The time of visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
