Patricia Ann Englert-Smith

1947-2024

NILES — Patricia Ann Englert-Smith, 76, of Niles, died the morning of Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the home of her daughter.

She was born Aug. 9, 1947 in Salem, the daughter of the late Robert T. and Dora E. (Herold) Englert.

Pat retired in 2009 as a Certified Registered, Nurse Anesthetist, after nearly 43 years in health care field. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, a 1965 graduate of Salem High School. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her son, Major Reed, of El Cojon, Calif.; a daughter, Deanna Reed, of Niles Ohio; five grandchildren Madison Buetikofer, Parris and Sydnie Reed, Gage and Paxpon House; along with her three brothers and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Reed and second husband Homer Smith.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, July 15, 2024. Interment will be held at Shadow Lawn Memory Garden, Newell, West Virginia.
