Kevin Samuel Blosser

1956-2024

On Aug. 28, 2024, at 10:43 a.m., Kevin Samuel Blosser, born Oct. 20, 1956, stepped into Heaven and was healed of the diseases that ailed him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Eileen Blosser of Columbiana, Ohio; infant daughter, Precella Blosser; and son-in-law Alex Heidelberg.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joann (Lehman) Blosser; his children Sarah (Jade) Paris, Luke Blosser, Hannah Heidelberg, Kenen Blosser and Steven Blosser; his grandchildren Dax Paris, Ezekiel Paris, and Winter Heidelberg; and siblings Laverne Blosser of Greenford, Phillip (Lisa) Blosser of Salem, Lynnette Kreidler of Enon Valley, Pa., Lisa (Donald) Sawders of Columbiana, and Sherri Frederick of Leetonia.

Kevin dedicated his life to missions. He had a degree in Biblical Studies and Theology, and attended Eastern Mennonite University, where he met Joann. He served with Youth With A Mission in Lindale, Texas, from 1999 until the time of his passing. He traveled to multiple countries in service and worked in the maintenance department at the ministry. He was an avid reader of the Bible and was known for his faithfulness and dedication to the Lord and to his family.

Two services will be held to honor his memory. In Lindale, Texas, a service will be held on Sept. 6, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Paris Fellowship Center on the YWAM Tyler base. In Columbiana, Ohio a service will be held on Sept. 8, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Midway Mennonite Church. All are welcome and a reception will follow.
