Lester Gene Wilson, age 92 of Jackson, Ohio passed away at Holzer Assisted Living on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was born in Garfield, Ohio on December 9, 1931 to the late Charles and Deborah (Campbell) Wilson.
Lester is survived by his daughters, Gay (Gary) Schrom, Amy (Terry) Barr, his brother, Ernie (Betty) Wilson, sister-in-law, Sally Wilson and daughter-in-law, Angie (Wilson) Phelps, grandchildren, Dustin Schrom, Lydia Schuster, Tyler Schrom, Michael Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Cady Wilson, Collin Wilson, and Noah Barr, his great-grandchildren, Nathan Schuster, McKenna Schuster, Alex Wilson, Sawyer Schrom, and Melody Schrom, Eric Thompson and Pauline Thompson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Neva Wilson, son, Gary Wilson, brothers, Dean Wilson, Carl Wilson, Curt Wilson, and Charles Wilson, and his sister, Vivian Phillis.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the Winona Friends Church in Salem, Ohio with Pastor Dan Hepner officiating and burial in the Highland Memorial Park to follow.
