Charlene (Barnes) McGuire
1942-2024
Charlene (Barnes) McGuire, 82, of Salem, died Monday morning at her home.
She was born on Oct. 4, 1942, in Ellsworth Township, daughter of the late Albert K. and Lena M. (Kegg) Barnes.
A 1960 graduate of Western Reserve High School, she was always busy doing craft projects, following the Cleveland Cavs, watching movies, and being interested in what was happening with the family.
She is survived by her children: Barbara (Steve) Cronin, Martin McGuire, Marcy McGuire and Jason McGuire; sisters: Betty Hull and Norita McGuire; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law: Joyce Barnes and Georgina Barnes.
Charlene was preceded by: husband Ralph B. McGuire; children: Daniel and John; siblings: James, Edward, Lee and Raymond Barnes and Barbara Bates.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. She will be laid to rest on the family plot in Ellsworth Cemetery.
