Betty M. Hull

1930-2025

Betty M. Hull, 94, of Warren, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025 at Gillette Nursing Home. She was born the oldest of eight, on Valentines Day, Feb. 14, 1930 in Salem, Ohio, a daughter of the late Albert and Lena Barnes.

Betty married the love of her life, Leroy C. Hull Jr., on June 20, 1947. Together they enjoyed 50 years of marriage and many happy memories before his passing.

She loved God, enjoyed doing word finds and playing bingo. Most of all, Betty loved her family.

Surviving are her daughters, Cheryl Hull and Carol Hull Cowger; a son, Keith Hull, all of Warren; a sister, Rita McGuire of Salem; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy C. Hull Jr.; sons, Larry Lee and Kevin Roy; her brothers, James, Lee “Squirrel,” Raymond “Hooty” and Edward “Jake;” and her sisters, Barbara and Charlene “Peachie.”

There will be no funeral services. Carl W. Hall has been entrusted with Betty’s arrangements. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Hillside Cemetery in Bazetta.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Red Cross in her memory.
