Joseph Eric Baronzzi, 65, died Jan. 26, 2025, in his home, in Tallahassee, Florida, following a brief illness.
Joe was born in Salem, Ohio, Dec. 19, 1959 to Attorney Joseph J. Baronzzi and Sarah (Sally Richardson) Baronzzi. Joe graduated from David Anderson High School in Lisbon, Ohio in 1978, and from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1983. Joe spent his career as a salesman, manager, and eventually a part owner of several GNC franchises in different states.
Joe always enjoyed being out in nature, including hiking, fishing and golfing. But his competitive spirit shined through in his love of darts and pool.
In his younger years, Joe was a talented magician, entertaining young and old alike as "Joe the Wizard." Joe will be remembered for his big heart, humble and genuine spirit, and as an independent soul who embraced life on his own terms.
In death, Joe joins his mother, Sally. He is survived by his father, former County Prosecutor, Joseph J. Baronzzi of Lisbon, Ohio; sisters, Mayor Cynthia (John) Dickey and Celeste Baronzzi, both of Salem, Ohio; brothers Judge Thomas (Melissa) Baronzzi of Lisbon, Ohio, and Attorney Christopher (Tiffany) Baronzzi of Blacklick, Ohio; as well as an aunt, uncle and many nieces and nephews, to remember him fondly. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
