Carolyn Diane Kuhns, 64, passed away on March 31, 2025, in Leetonia, Ohio. Born on March 15, 1961, Carolyn graduated from David Anderson Junior/Senior High School in Lisbon, Ohio. She was deeply committed to her faith, actively participating in the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene as a child.
Known for her loving and family-oriented nature, Carolyn was an excellent wife, mother, mema and sister. Her sense of humor and caring personality were legendary among her family and friends. She had a passion for cooking, baking, and engaging in outdoor activities like off-roading and camping. Additionally, Carolyn was skilled in crochet and crafts, often creating beautiful pieces for her loved ones.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Larry Kuhns Sr.; sons Jason Truitt and daughter, Shae Truitt and his family, and Phillip Truitt and his family; stepdaughter, Sarah Kuhns and her family; sister, Cindy Forrester (Gene); and brother, Don Eberle (Pam). She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Patricia Eberle, and her brother, Davey Eberle.
A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held on April 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Party Space, 33 Fitch Blvd., Austintown, OH 44515. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Patriot Hospice, in appreciation of the loving care provided by Molly Dennison and her team during Carolyn's final days.
