Michael Lewis Hilliard, 75, of Salem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at his home.
He was born Sept. 7, 1949 in Salem, Ohio, the son of the late Lewis and Katherine (Gamble) Hilliard.
Mike retired from General Motors and was an avid fan of golf and pool. He always lit up the room with his sense of humor, he had an uplifting personality, and loved cracking jokes. He was an amazing father and grandfather, always supportive, and always available for everyone's sporting events. He helped his children grow, enjoyed visits, and time spent on the golf course. Mike loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed but not forgotten. He was loved very much by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Milhoan) Hilliard, whom he married Oct. 29, 1995, his three sons: Mike (Lori) Hilliard of Darlington, Pa., Chad (Rhonda) Hilliard of Salem, Ohio, Wade (BJ) Hilliard of Washington, N.C.; daughter, Julie (Kevin) Dow of Salem, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Cathy Hall.
Per his request there will be no services held.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
