Sandra J. (Stevens) Herman

Sandra J. (Stevens) Herman, 83,of Salem and former longtime resident of Kenton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on February 8, 1942, in Salem, Ohio, she dedicated her life to education, serving as a teacher and private tutor. Her commitment to education left an indelible mark on the lives of numerous students throughout her career.

 A proud graduate of Salem High School, Sandra furthered her education at Youngstown State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Her passion for learning extended beyond the classroom; she was an avid reader and had a deep love for music, often expressed through her talent at the piano.

 A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church in Salem, OH at 11 a.m. with Pastors Rev. Annie Parker and Rev. Trina Lewis. A time of gathering will take place an hour prior to the service at the church from 10 to 11 a.m .
