Dorothy L. Fitch

1929-2025

SALEM — Dorothy L. Fitch, 96, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

Dorothy was born on April 28, 1929, in Salem, Ohio, to the late William A. and Dorothy L. (Wright) Zimmerman.

Mrs. Fitch was a homemaker and member of the New Garden Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Smith; second husband, Clarence Fitch; and brothers, Leroy and Norman Zimmerman.

Survivors include children, Gail (Robert) Brown, Gary (Debby) Smith, and Deborah (Roger) Briceland, all of Salem; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, at Stark Memorial Funeral Home, 1014 E. State St., Salem, where a funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
