Maria Teresa (Pucci) Martin

1952-2025

SALEM – Maria Teresa (Pucci) Martin, 73, passed from this Earth surrounded by her family to join her Heavenly Father after a brief illness on Sept. 1, 2025.

Maria was born in Salem, Ohio on June 3, 1952, the daughter of Ugo and Anna (Lisi) Pucci.

Maria will be deeply missed by her sons, Samuel (Lisa) Barefield and Edward (Kristen) Barefield. She also leaves behind her brother, Oscar Pucci; niece Stephanie (Kris) Maxey; nephew Joseph Pucci; and her beloved granddaughters, Katelynn Barefield and Madaleine Barefield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony and Richard Pucci, and nephew (little) Richard Pucci.

Maria’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church. Family will receive visitors, prior to the Mass, on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Stark Memorial Funeral Home, 1014 E. State St., Salem.
