David Burch
1955-2025
David Burch, 70 of Flagstaff, Arizona, passed peacefully Oct. 5, 2025. Born April 5, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Vaughan Burch and Pauline Dailey Palmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Lina Jean Burch; his sister, Vaunna Galbreath; and his partner, Kathy Gustafson.
Multi-talented, Dave enjoyed various career opportunities. He was a professional bull rider, earning the respect of fellow riders for his courage and determination. As a local truck driver in Ohio, he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and friendly personality.
David enjoyed leatherwork, fixing up old cars, and traveling. He and his beloved Kathy Gustafson especially loved exploring new places together. Family was very important to Dave. He was a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, as well as a treasured brother and uncle. He cherished watching the children learn and grow and teaching them the rules of life.
He is survived by his stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Doug Morgan; grandchildren, Timothy Morgan (Nicole), Kelsey Viglietta (Benedict), Tyler Gustafson (Kimmie) and Alyssa Gustafson; great-grandsons Liam and Everett; sister Kathy Eppley (James) and brother Tim Palmer, as well as many nieces and nephews.
David will be remembered for his fearless spirit. Don't tell him, he couldn't do it. His generous heart, faith, humor, the joy his presence brought, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
