Bradley ‘Brad’ Joseph Pastore
1955-2025
SALEM — Bradley “Brad” Joseph Pastore, 70, of Salem, Ohio, passed away quietly at his home Sunday evening.
Born on Feb. 8, 1955, in Salem, Ohio, Brad was the son of Albert and Joan Pastore of Lisbon, OH.
He was a 1973 graduate of David Anderson High School and spent more than 40 years working proudly as a welder, a trade in which he built his career, craftsmanship, and lifelong friendships.
Brad was married to Monica (Lepping) Pastore for 47 years, and together they made their home in Salem, where they raised their two children. Brad is survived by his wife, Monica; his son, Jake Pastore, and daughter-in-law, Bree (Whinnery) Pastore; and his daughter, Liz (Pastore) Staubach, and son-in-law, Michael Staubach. He was a devoted grandfather, known as Pops, to his grandchildren, Leo and Jack Pastore and to Cameron Staubach. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy (Pastore) Smith, and her husband, Tony, of Lisbon, Ohio, along with their children and grandchildren.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bruce Pastore; his sister-in-law, Patricia (Barnes) Pastore; and his nephew, Scott Pastore — all of whom he held close in his heart.
Known for his steady nature, sense of humor, and deep appreciation for the outdoors, Brad spent countless days hunting, fishing, and exploring the woods and fields he loved. His happiest moments were those spent outside with family, friends, and his loving dog, Louie.
Brad’s legacy lives on in the values he instilled in his children: hard work, loyalty, love, and the simple enjoyment of a life well lived. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Church in Salem, Ohio, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025. Following the Mass, friends and family are invited to gather at The OG, 146 S. Broadway, Salem, OH 44460, to share stories and celebrate his life. Please bring a memory to share.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Columbiana County Humane Society.
