2025-2026
EAST LIVERPOOL — Lincoln James Schreffler, 7 weeks old, passed unexpectedly from this world on Feb. 14, 2026, and into the loving arms of Jesus.
Born on Dec. 21, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, Lincoln was welcomed with overflowing joy by his adoring parents, David and Heidi Schreffler. From the moment he arrived — 6 pounds 12 ounces, 19.5 inches long, with peach fuzz blonde hair and bright blue eyes — he was perfection in their eyes.
Lincoln’s big brothers and sisters eagerly awaited his arrival and embraced their new roles with pride. Sky, Caleb, Brooklyn, and Grayson delighted in holding him, helping care for him, and posing for countless pictures with their baby brother. Lincoln seemed to find comfort and peace in the lively, sometimes noisy, world created by his siblings.
With his happy disposition, chubby cheeks, and sweet smiles, Lincoln brightened every day for those who loved him. His short life was surrounded by tenderness, joy, and unwavering affection.
He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, David and Heidi; his siblings, paternal grandparents, Melissa Roberts of Columbiana and Gene and Shawn Schreffler of Lisbon; maternal grandparents, Lyle and Teena Valentich of Poland; paternal great grandparents, Steve and Nancy Bolyard of Columbiana and Eugene “Red” and Cynthia Forrester of Rogers; maternal great-grandmother, Linda Provan of Midlothian, Texas; and many devoted aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Lincoln was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, David Provan, and his great-grandmother, Violet South.
Lincoln’s legacy is one of pure love. His family takes comfort in knowing he was cherished every moment of his life.
Pastor Joe Cameneti Jr. will conduct a memorial service Thursday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
