William J. Armbruster

1928-2026

William J. Armbruster (Mr. Bill) passed on Feb. 26, 2026.

Mr. Bill was born in Charleroi, Pa., on July 18,1928. His family moved to Canton, Ohio when he was a young boy and he resided there until he met his wife Beverly Maxine Collins in 1950. They lived in Augusta, Georgia while Mr. Bill proudly served in the Army. After his stint in the military they moved to Alliance, Ohio and raised their family.

Mr. Bill was active with his family volunteering and serving on committees with scouts. He also was involved with band boosters where he held the position of president. Mr. Bill also volunteered at the church. Mr. Bill liked traveling and camping where he and Beverly and their family traveled the country and Mexico. His second love was truck driving which he did for almost 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife. He is survived by his sons Tim (Robin) Armbruster, Larry (Jennifer) Armbruster and daughter Virginia Locke, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
