Peter A. Nollier

1945-2026

SALEM — Peter A. Nollier, 80, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2026, at his home in Salem, Ohio.

He was born on May 23, 1945, in Germany to the late Armin and Irmgard Nollier. Peter and his family moved to the United States during his childhood. He graduated from Salem High School. He was very active as a young man and was always involved in sports during his time in high school.

Peter worked for Eljer Industries in Salem for many years until he retired and began investing more time into the simpler, yet fulfilling, parts of life. He took a liking to golfing and bowling. He also never missed a chance to unwind in front of a good game. Whether it was basketball, football, golf, or any other sport, he was always happy to watch. In his later years, he looked forward to sitting down with his good friends and sharing a meal, most often breakfast or lunch.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Dagmar Morgan, and his beloved dog, Albert. He leaves behind a daughter, Rene (Bob) Sprowl, two grandchildren, Emily and Tyler, and a sister, Jeanette Beadnell.

There will be no services for Peter at this time.

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
