Richard Curtis Grimm, 93, of Bazetta, Ohio passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at his home.
He was born Oct. 19, 1932, in Salem, Ohio, the son of Oscar Francis and Dorothy Mae (Coy) Grimm.
Richard graduated from Salem High School. He was an electrician and retired from Packard Electric after 35 years. Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy having served five years aboard the USS Terrebonne Parish.
He enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, ham radio KA8HUT, antique hit and miss gas engines, and steam engines. Richard was a member of the Trumbull County Rod and Gun Club, Ashtabula Antique Engine Club, and was a hunter safety instructor.
He is survived by his sons, Richard (Debbie) Grimm II of Bazetta, Ohio and Timothy (Debbie) Grimm of Cortland, Ohio; grandchildren Jasminne (Jason) Wessel of North Royalton, Ohio, Nicholas Grimm of Bazetta, Ohio, and Jonathan Grimm of Cortland, Ohio; sister, Cherie Hoering of Weirton, W.Va.; two great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella “Connie” (Conti) Grimm, who passed away Nov. 13, 2001.
No services will be held at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
